Albert was featured on the CNN.com Web site on Wednesday, September 24, 2003. Thanks to all of those who sent emails and donations. The response to the article was overwhelming by the public and media - we received over 375 emails! Albert has received several requests to appear on National television. Note:- Albert was on CNN at 8:20 a.m., Thursday morning and MSNBC at 5:30 p.m., Thursday evening (Eastern time). Albert will appear on CBS's "Early Show" very soon. We are not sure of the date - Albert is taping as we speak!.

Albert was featured on "Heroes with John Kasich" - Fox News. The show aired Saturday, 2/17/01, at 3:00 p.m. and also at 6:00 p.m.. The Web site was listed on the Fox News Heroe's Web site.
- Thanks to all who emailed and sent donations during the airing of the show. John Kasich's segment on Albert was the best representation of Albert to date. It was both emotional and inspiring.
- Congressman John Kasich donated a portion of his book proceeds to Albert's Kids of Children's Hospital. The "The Courage Is Contagious Fund" distributes all proceeds from the sale of Congressman Kasich's book, Courage is Contagious, to the non-profit organizations featured in the book. Albert's story is featured in the book.

host Danny Glover was asked by Oprah Winfrey to choose two of his favorite
guests and Albert was selected. Without a doubt, Albert was one of the hi-lites of the
show. Albert was cheered by Oprah's studio audience during his segment. A tape of the
Courage show was shown with Oprah narrating Albert's story. Albert gave balloons and
cheered-up his "kids" at Children's Hospital, shined shoes, and conversed with
Hospital staff. It was certainly a great story and Albert never came off better. It is
always great to hear Albert speak from the heart about why he does what he does. It truly
depicted the man and his mission. He is truly an inspiration to us all.
- "Courage" aired on September 26th , at 9:00 p.m, on the Fox Family Channel. Albert was featured on the Nationwide television show.
- "Prime Time Albert" - Albert was filmed for a segment of a "Fox
Family Network" television show, called
"Courage". The show features stories of courage and inspiration aimed
at a family audience. The film crew followed Albert through his daily routine, including a
stop at First Federal in Monessen, where he received a $500.00 check. The
check was made out to the Free Care Fund. The show aired on September
26th, 2000.
