Albert appeared on the 54th annual Free Care Fund Telethon and presented his check for over $1,300.00. The program aired on KDKA-TV on Wednesday, December 19th, 2007.

Albert shined shoes at the Donora Fireman's Convention on June 16th, 17th, and 18th in 2004. All donations went to the Children's Hospital Free Care Fund.

Albert shined shoes at the Monessen Rite Aid on April 10th, 2004.

Albert shined shoes at the Mon Valley Home Show in Charleroi on March 19th, 2004. He donated all of his profits to Children's Hospital!

Albert was in Monessen's Christmas parade on Saturday, December 6th, 2004.

The Monessen Volunteer Fire Department No. 1 sponsored it's annual Charity Run, a motorcycle and classic car cruise. This year the event benefited the Children's Hospital Free Care Fund. The fireman picked Albert's charity because they are volunteers like Albert. This is a great honor for Albert.

The Awards Committee of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Executives has selected Albert to receive one of the Outstanding Philanthropist Awards for 2001. The award was presented at the "National Philanthropy Day Luncheon" celebration on Wednesday, November 14, 2001. The luncheon was held at the Westin Convention Center Hotel, in Pittsburgh.
- Belle Vernon Walmart donates to the Children's Hospital Free Care Fund. Albert's new "buddy", Jim Lowe, manager of the Walmart store, presented a check for $500.00 to Albert for the fund.
- Albert appears on Pittsburgh television station KDKA on December
17, 1999 to present his donation ($9,000.00) to Children's Hospital.
- Albert appeared on the "KDKA
Telethon" Thursday, December 21, 2000.
- Free shoe shines - Albert shined shoes at "Monessen Rite Aid" on Saturday,
December 16th. From 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Albert shined shoes for free at the
Monessen location. Donations to the Children's Hospital Free
Care Fund were accepted. Ho! Ho!
Ho! - Santa Claus was on hand to pass out treats. Isn't Albert a little like Santa Claus?
Albert is KDKA TV's "Home Town Hero" on Monday, November13, 2000.
Albert appears (via telephone) on "Froggy 98.3 Radio" , Monday, September 25th, 2000. Morning show hosts Jimmy Roach and Polly Wogg interviewed Albert on their show.
Albert appeared on "Night Talk with John McIntire" Tuesday, September 12, 2000. The Pittsburgh Cable News Channel featured Albert on the nightly talk show.

- Albert's 1999 campaign total is $13,725.54.
- May, 1999, Albert, "Cassy Jack" Casson, his pageant queens, contestants and friends raise over $2,500.00 for the Children's Hospital Free Care Fund. The two tag day events were held at the Belle Vernon Wal-Mart store.
- Albert shines shoes at the Belle Vernon Wal-Mart store on weekends to raise money for Children's Hospital.
- Albert, along with Cassy Jack, Wal-Mart's Randy Paulovich and Kellie Tencer, will turn cereal box tops for the Kellogg's, "Kids With Courage" campaign. Proceeds of the fund raiser will benefit Children's Hospital.
